I have been walking around old delhi with a couple of friends visiting from Hong Kong. we went out looking for some interesting painters and old style print shops for my friend’s project and of course sampled some street food. I was clicking some pics of a chhole kulch wala and blocking the traffic of the bicycle rickshaw when one of them yelled at me, “arre fotowala!” trying to grab my attention and clear the road. after all these years in India, this was the first time I have noticed anyone addressing me as ‘fotowala‘ :-) nice coincidence.
